GiftScope is a participant in affiliate programmes. If you follow a link and buy something, the retailer may pay a commission. You do not pay a higher price because of that.

Amazon links use an Associates tag stored in one place in the site config (a placeholder, giftscope-21, until it is replaced with the live tracking ID). Other retailers that pay through Awin — including Hamleys, Not On The High Street, Waterstones and The Entertainer — use an Awin deep link once a numeric publisher ID is set in that same config. Until then, those buttons go straight to the product page so the link still works.

John Lewis & Partners pays commission through Impact, and LEGO Shop UK through Rakuten. Those buttons go to the product page. Smyths Toys is not on Awin; a Smyths link is the product page itself.

Links that can earn a commission are marked rel="sponsored". They open in a new tab. The gift notes are not written by the retailers, and a product is not added because the commission is better.

Price bands are a guide from the day the list was updated. They are not an offer. The price, seller and delivery date on the retailer’s page are the ones that count. We do not show a hand-typed Amazon price.
